Gujarat Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024
- Time: 3 Hours
- Now a single paper of 200 marks 3 hours
- OBJECTIVE MCQ TEST will be taken. This paper will be in two parts, Part-A and Part-B and a minimum of 40% marks will be required to pass in each part.
- The objective type written test shall consists of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and O.M.R (Optical Mark Reader) system.
- Every question shall be of 1 mark.
- The candidate shall have to attempt all questions.
- Every attempted question with incorrect answer shall carry a negative mark of 0.25
- In every question there shall be one option of “Not attempted”. If the candidate does not intend to answer, he may select this option. If the candidate selects this option, the negative mark shall not be given.
- If the candidate has not selected any of the option given in the question, then it shall carry a negative mark of 0.25
LRD Police Recruitment New Rules & sillabus announced
No marks will be awarded for the physical exam during the Lokrakshak recruitment process; the only requirement is to pass the run within the allotted time.

All applicants who pass the written exam will be eligible to participate in the multiple-choice question test.
The objective MCQ test paper, worth 200 marks, will be used in place of the 100-mark MCQ exam.
It will require a minimum of 40% in order to pass.

For courses taken at National Defense University or National Forensic Science University, extra credit will be given. Significant modifications to police recruitment regulations
The state government has implemented significant modifications to the examination system for the combined merit recruitment of different Lok Rakshasa ranks, which will aid the young people of the state who are preparing for the competitive examination. Accordingly, the physical examination for Lok Rakshasa recruitment was done in the past. No marks will be awarded.

Prior to its cancellation, the physical exam’s weighting of the candidates was also taken into account. As a result, the test will now only be polyfied; no marks will be given, and all candidates who pass it will be eligible to take the ensuing objective multiple-choice exam.
In the past, candidates who appeared for a physical exam took an MCQ test that lasted two hours and was worth 100 marks. Currently, candidates will only take a single, three-hour, objective MCQ test that is worth 200 marks. A minimum of 40% of the marks will be required.
